Glenda Cruz Juarez, LCSW

Glenda Cruz Juarez is a bilingual LCSW at Nueva Vida Mental Health. She graduated from Northern Arizona University with an extended B.S. in Psychology and B.A. in Spanish prior to moving from Arizona to Las Vegas.

Her journey working with families and children began as an advocate for children with disabilities involving the education system. This incredible stepping stone lead her to different employment positions within the child welfare system such as Psychiatric Case Manager for children in foster care and Senior Family Services Specialist in the Department of Family Services. These experiences opened her eyes to the dire need for mental health services and support for children and families in the Las Vegas community especially within the Latino population. She began to work in home-based mental health services that not only provided her with the opportunity to gain a wealth of knowledge but also became one of the driving forces motivating her to obtain a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She specializes in teens and young adults with trauma, mental health diagnoses, foster care involvement, and behavioral concerns. In her spare time, Glenda loves traveling to different countries, going to concerts, and spending as much time as possible with family and friends.
